Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students within a public school setting in the Rochester, NH area. This contract assignment is designed for candidates seeking a short-term role during the current school year.
Key Details:
- Location: Rochester, NH (On-site)
- Setting: K-12 public school
- Contract Type: Current School Year (CSY)
- Positions Available: Two maternity leave coverage roles
- Position 1: Immediate start until end of school year, high school caseload, 3-4 days per week
- Position 2: April start until end of school year, middle school caseload, 4-5 days per week, full-time availability required
- Experience Levels: Open to SLPs holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), experienced in schools and pediatrics, including Clinical Fellowship Year candidates

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure for school-based services
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with K-12 educational settings, assessments, and individualized education program (IEP) development
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and maintain accurate documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and screen students as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights
