OR RN – West Main OR (Level I Trauma)Contract & Guarantee
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours/week (3×12s)
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time
Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 7p–7a
- Orientation:
- Week 1: 3×12s days (7a–7:30p) – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Orientation is weekly on Mondays (barring holidays)
- Weekends: 2 weekends per month
- Holidays: Eligible to work any holiday during contract
- Call: No call requirement
Experience & Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Must have OR experience in ALL of the following:
- Kidney transplant
- Trauma
- Neuro & spine
- Orthopedic trauma
- Robotics
- Scrub and/or circulate experience required
- Flu vaccine: Required prior to acceptance
- Travelers must live 50+ miles from facility (no locals)
Unit Overview – West Main OR
- Operating Rooms: 10 ORs
- Focus: Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery
- Case Mix Includes:
- Bariatric surgery
- Neurosurgery
- ENT (primarily head & neck)
- Orthopedic trauma & spine
- Major plastic reconstruction
- Robotic surgery
- Kidney & liver transplants
- Organ procurement

Interview & Submission
- Interview & offer: Nurse Manager
- Interview availability (dates/times) must be included at submission
- BILH coversheet: Required at submission
- All RTO must be submitted upfront (no post-submission RTO)
Traveler Restrictions
- Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last 6 months will not be accepted
- Must be separated from the system for 6 months to be eligible
