LPN/RN Full time - 2nd Shift

The RN/LPN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellness of the residents with respect to overseeing health, nutrition, and dietary needs; activities of daily living; medication supervision; and assessing safety concerns of the residents.
The RN/LPN responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall well-being of the residents; communication with all resident support services, physicians, health care agencies, and families; quality assurance; and regulatory compliance.
We currently have available:
- 2nd shift, 30 hours, 4 pm to 10:00 pm, required to work every other weekend, alternating holidays, and on-call rotation as needed.
- 2nd shift, 30 hours, 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm, required to work every other weekend, alternating holidays, and on-call rotation as needed.
The pay range is $33.00 up to $37.00 per hour. We also offer a $4.00/hour shift differential for weekends between 4 pm and 11:30 pm on top of base pay. Other program/agency-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, advanced degree in health services.
- 1-2 years of experience with the geriatric/dementia population.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising CNAs or home health aides.
- Administers non-injectable medications such as orals, drops, inhalers, and topical ointments to residents whose service plans specify the need for LMA and maintains written documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstration of strong clinical and documentation assessment skills.
- Knowledge of community support services.
- Experience in an assisted living center is preferred.
