Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to join an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital in Nantucket, MA. This contract position is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience who can provide full-time coverage with a positive and professional attitude. The assignment will begin as soon as possible and is expected to last approximately 13 weeks.
Location: Nantucket, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in an outpatient/retail pharmacy setting
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals attached to the hospital to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform pharmacy-related administrative tasks and maintain compliance with regulations
- Provide coverage during a vacancy period, ensuring continuity of pharmacy services
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
- Experience in retail pharmacy practice
- Availability to work full-time, daytime shifts on a consistent schedule
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
