Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Lowell, MA, for the duration of a full semester contract. The role requires 32.5 hours per week and has one opening with a start date as soon as possible. The contract will continue until the position is filled internally.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing reports, delivering direct speech therapy services, participating in consultations, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), developing goals, and maintaining communication with parents and teachers. The caseload focuses primarily on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid, active SLP licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- School-based experience is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Candidates with Clinical Fellowships (CFs) or strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will also be considered
- CORI background check and fingerprinting required
- Onsite presence mandatory due to caseload demands
