Job Description

Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications
Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and part schematics to determine proper tooling and machine settings
Select, install, and adjust press brake dies, punches, and back gauges for each job
Perform first-article inspections and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other precision measuring tools
Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments
Maintain accurate production records, job travelers, and inspection reports
Work safely in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements
Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality inspectors to meet production goals and deadlines
Troubleshoot forming issues, material defects, and tooling problems to minimize downtime
