Our client in the Greater Dedham, MA area is looking for a Sr or Prin level Electrical Engineer to work as part of a small team to help drive the development of high-accuracy electronic products. This position blends hands-on circuit design with project ownership, mentoring and leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Own electrical design efforts from concept through validation.
- Lead work on analog and mixed-signal circuitry for precision applications.
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, and component choices.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance targets.
- Maintain key engineering documentation and BOMs.
- Mentor Jr. electrical engineers and technicians, and manage day-to-day technical priorities.
- Improve design workflows and quality practices.
- Customer interface, reviewing client specs for product designs and enhancements
- Partner with production, calibration, and customer-facing teams to solve issues.
- Provide remote technical support as needed.
- Contribute to long-term product planning and technical direction.
- Work with suppliers and partners on technical requirements.
- Support prototypes, testing, certification, and production rollout.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- 5+ years of hands-on circuit design experience.
- Strong background in analog design and precision electronics.
- Familiarity with calibration, accuracy, and measurement concepts.
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving environment.
