Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee our interior renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of renovation work, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a background in various types of interior renovations, including retail, restaurants, and office spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple interior renovation projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring timelines and costs are adhered to
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the renovation process
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation to management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in interior renovations
- Strong knowledge of fit outs, tenant improvements, and remodel processes
- Experience working on commercial projects, including high-end retail and restaurant spaces
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred
