Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Marlborough, MA seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students within an ASD program. This role involves working Monday through Friday with a caseload of elementary-age students in a structured contract setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with disabilities in an elementary ASD Pathways program.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique learning needs of approximately 20-25 students.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies.
Participate in meetings with families and educational staff to ensure student success.
Manage daily classroom activities, including providing 40 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes for lunch.

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License (SPED MA license) required.
Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education, preferably within ASD-focused programs.
Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage caseload and collaborate with team members.

Location: Marlborough, MA

This is a contracted position on a full-time schedule.
