Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The OR RN will utilize the nursing process to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care while adhering to professional nursing standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including medication administration and patient monitoring

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation from admission through discharge

Communicate patient assessments, care plans, and changes in condition with the interdisciplinary team

Perform charge nurse duties and act as a clinical resource for nursing staff

Utilize computerized nursing and clinical documentation systems effectively

Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and blood/body fluid exposure policies

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Coordinate daily operating room activities in collaboration with anesthesia and leadership teams

Support staff supervision, education, and unit operations

Manage operating room supplies, equipment, and medication inventory (including Pyxis systems)

Participate in on-call coverage for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)

Minimum of one (1) year of recent Operating Room experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
-
BLS certification required
