We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Desk Manager to lead our front office team and ensure every guest interaction reflects the high standards of The Wentworth.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Manager oversees daily front office operations and leads the front desk team in delivering seamless, welcoming, and memorable guest experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train and supervise the front desk team, fostering a culture of service excellence
  • Oversee daily front office operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest communications
  • Ensure consistent delivery of luxury service standards and brand expectations
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and care
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Management to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and stafffing needs for the front desk team
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and cash handling procedures
  • Support revenue optimization through room inventory awareness and upselling opportunities

Qualifications

  • Previous Front Desk Supervisor or Front Desk Manager experience in a hotel or resort setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for guest service and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays and evenings
