Our client in Waterbury, VT is seeking a production planning specialist to join their team. As a production planning specialist, you would have SAP-EMW experience or at least someone with strong computer skills. This person would be primarily coordinating our trucking and materials schedule.

Pay Range: 30.00 an hour
What’s the Job?
The Production Planning Specialist should have a strong understanding of production procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and advanced communication and computer skills. They should also possess a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Scheduling and Coordination:
Organize production according to demand and quality standards, ensuring that all materials and goods required for production are in the right place at the right time.
- Resource Management: Manage inventory levels, coordinate production schedules, and communicate production status updates to managers.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize DMAIC/LEAN production tools and other problem-solving skills to address complex issues and optimize production processes.
- Communication: Work closely with managers and engineers, and communicate production status updates to ensure everything runs smoothly without hiccups.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to influence production schedules accordingly and liaise with sales and other departments for orderbook changes and forecast adjustments.
