A temporary opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support a K-8 school setting from September 15, 2025, through March 9, 2026. This maternity leave contract role provides essential therapy services to students in grades K-8, focusing on improving their fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans tailored to students educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Adapt activities and environments to support student participation and independence.
- Participate in meetings such as IEP or team discussions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials.
- Experience working with K-8 student populations within school-based settings.
- Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and school therapy protocols.
