About this opportunity
This position is primarily responsible for billing customers for service work. This includes reviewing the content of completed work orders for inconsistencies and safety-related issues for follow-up, while building and maintaining effective service billing practices to provide the highest level of customer service. This position is also responsible for supporting other billing team tasks, members, and roles as needed.
What your role will look like
- Review and process work orders and contracts to ensure work is completed accurately for invoicing.
- Research inaccuracies within work orders and contracts and collaborate with other departments for timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain proficient working knowledge of system test documentation requirements for industry-specific field practices and terminology for purposes of work order processing.
- Develop and maintain proficient working knowledge of billing procedures, special seasonal offerings, and service plans.
- Identify, research, and present solutions for billing inconsistencies to enhance customer experiences.
- Support additional billing team roles and responsibilities including, but not limited to, meter billing, invoicing, delivery billing, credits and refunds, among others.
- Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience within the heating/HVAC industry or comparable service industry preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with Oracle JD Edwards and Oracle Field Service Cloud preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, preferred.
