CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• This is a CT/X-Ray Tech position with primary focus on CT imaging, but X-Ray experience also required
\n• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking
\n• Conduct primary diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks including IV insertion and injections
\n• Work weekends and holidays as needed (TBD schedule)
\n• On-call responsibilities possible
\n• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
\n• Must have own vehicle for transportation
\n• Minimum 2 years current CT experience required
\n• ARRT (CT) Certification required
\n• Massachusetts Radiology license required
\n• BLS (AHA) certification required
\n• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
\n• Must demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
\n• Ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications
\n• Excellent written, verbal, and Tiger Text communication skills required
\n• Must practice infection control in compliance with departmental and hospital policies
\n• Complete annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
\n• Maintain department competencies as required
\n• Must function independently and proficiently in high stress, work-intensive environment
\n• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
\n• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
