Administrative Home Care Nurse
Part-Time Administrative Home Care Nurse (RN, BSN) – 20 Hours/Week In-Office Location: Randolph, MA - Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week (In-Office) - Reliable Transportation Required
We are a mission-driven home care agency seeking a compassionate and organized Administrative Home Care Nurse (RN, BSN) to join our growing team. This part-time role is perfect for a skilled nurse who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a structured office setting.
About the Role:
As an Administrative Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care planning, supporting our home care staff, and coordinating essential services. This is a 20-hour per week, in-office position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our clinical services and patient support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and review patient assessments; create or update individualized care plans.
- Coordinate care in accordance with physician or NP directives and agency standards.
- Supervise home care aides and provide in-service training to maintain quality standards.
- Field caregiver and client calls; assist with scheduling, updates, and problem-solving.
- Monitor and manage patient service authorizations to prevent billing or service gaps.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports and collaborate with case managers and medical staff.
- Communicate changes in care, shift updates, and client needs in real time. Support marketing efforts and assist with program development (e.g., AFC, GAFC).
Service Authorization Oversight (Essential):
- Maintain up-to-date authorization tracker and ensure timely renewals.
- Alert internal teams to expiring authorizations and prevent service interruptions.
- Coordinate with case managers and payers to confirm active authorizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current and valid RN licensure in Massachusetts.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation
