JOB DESCRIPTION:
The CT Technologist performs a variety of computerized tomographic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist, utilizing knowledge of ionizing radiation and computer techniques.
EDUCATION:
Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), CT certification preferred.
This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview
EXPERIENCE:
While experience in CT or a related radiology position is preferred, the medical Center offers on-the-job CT training to candidates with active ARRT certification. Education materials are provided, and the cost of the CT certification exam is reimbursed after successfully passing the exam.
SCHEDULE:
This position works nine 8-hour evening shifts over a two-week pay period. While call is not required at this time, this may change if the need arises.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, the CT team performs specialized exams for all certifications, including Cardiac, TAVI and research. We use Philips scanners, Epic EMR, and Visage for a PACS system.
