Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Special Education Teachers are needed to support K-12 students across various classroom settings in Massachusetts. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences within a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse disabilities across multiple grade levels.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and standards related to special education.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education License is required.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12 grade levels.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
