With over 85% of our products manufactured in our Norwood facility, our ability to maintain a reliable and efficient production environment is essential to our success.
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role supports the overall safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our Norwood factory and may occasionally assist at our Dorchester, Natick, Wakefield, and Watertown locations.
The Entry-Level Maintenance Technician helps ensure that our equipment, machinery, and facilities remain safe, operational, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role working directly with production machinery, performing routine maintenance, supporting repairs, and assisting experienced technicians as needed. Industry-specific training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine mechanical repairs and adjustments on production machinery
- Work alongside senior technicians for mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized building environment
- Perform basic inspections, lubrication tasks, and minor equipment servicing
- Read and reference manuals, diagrams, and drawings to support repair tasks
- Communicate equipment issues to supervisors and assist with solutions
- Complete basic PC-based tasks such as logging maintenance activities
- Willingness to learn CNC machinery, PLC basics, and production equipment operations
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Mechanical aptitude or basic maintenance experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of standard and metric measurement systems
- PC literate and comfortable with basic documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Mechanical/electrical interest or background is a plus
