Shift: Night Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team at the New Hampshire. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Provide residents with emotional support, help with interpersonal relationships, and support their adjustment to the care environment.
- Participate in and supervise residents during recreational and therapeutic group activities to maintain ADL skills and promote social engagement.
- Perform basic nursing tasks such as taking vital signs, observing and reporting changes in resident condition, and collecting routine specimens.
- Ensure resident cleanliness, nourishment, comfort, and provide sensory stimulation activities as instructed by nursing staff.
- Communicate observations and findings clearly to the shift supervisor, both verbally and through documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and utilize universal precautions in all aspects of care to promote resident safety and prevent the spread of infection.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire LNA license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Must be able to work night shifts (11 PM – 7:30 AM).
