Intern/Co-Op

Some of your responsibilities include:
- Mechanical engineering students will be assisting with design and layout of ductwork and related mechanical equipment such as motors, fans and pumps for new and existing buildings (mechanical)
- Electrical engineering students will execute electrical designs in accordance with the Electrical Department’s Procedures and Standards and specific client standards where applicable. (electrical)
- Fire Protection students will assist with layout and design of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT. (fire protection)
- Working with Engineers on commercial, government, healthcare, and scientific buildings
- Will utilize Revit for 3D designs and Navisworks to check interferences
- May perform mathematical calculations and assist with equipment research and specifications
- May visit client sites and attend walk-throughs, punch lists or meeting with architects, owners, and subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Skill requirements:
- Strong analytical ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of LEED and sustainable practices helpful
- Advanced knowledge of Revit given priority
- Should be going into Junior or Senior year of University/College
