Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school nursing professional (LPN/LVN or RN) is needed to provide one-on-one substitute nursing care at a middle school in Hillsborough, NH. This is a contracted position for the current school year, working directly with a student requiring specialized healthcare support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student as assigned
- Monitor residuals and administer bolus feedings via pump and G-tube
- Monitor heart rate and oxygen saturation levels as necessary
- Perform oral and nasal suctioning as well as wound care for mouth injuries
- Ensure student safety and well-being throughout the school day
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure
- Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to administer G-tube feedings and perform suctioning
- Strong observational and communication skills for monitoring student health needs
