We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a hotel setting located in Brookline, MA. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks including electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing outlets, exhaust fans, and switches.
- Repair commercial laundry machines and air conditioning systems.
- Address pipe breaks and other plumbing issues within the facility.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical failures.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve maintenance challenges efficiently.
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints related to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues before they escalate.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in general maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional driving to Home Depot or Lowes for supply pickup.

Work Environment
This position involves working in a hotel environment with a shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, you may need to work the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift based on staffing needs. The work involves using various mechanical and maintenance tools and equipment in a fast-paced setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookline, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
