Summary

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team in the 1-year-old classroom. If you love working with older infants and youngr toddlers and creating meaningful early learning experiences, we’d love to meet you!

Duties

• Provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for 1-year-olds
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive team environment
• Follow state licensing regulations and center policies
• Be willing to participate in yearly professional development training
• Be willing to take any necessary trainings or classes to have the required credentials needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred but willing to train the right candiate
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for young children
• strong commitment to showing up regularly and on time for all scheduled work days, minimizing unplanned absences.
