Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in a K-12 school located just 20 minutes outside of Boston, Massachusetts. This position is ideal for a skilled OT seeking to support students during a maternity leave assignment. The contract runs from approximately March 26th through June 12th, with the potential for Extended School Year (ESY) work afterwards if interested.

Responsibilities include providing therapeutic services that support students participation and success in the school environment. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning. Daily duties involve assessment, intervention, documentation, and progress monitoring to ensure each students needs are met.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
  • Ability to design and implement student-centered therapy programs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and compliance requirements
