Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Essential Skills
- Experience in machine operation.
- Knowledge of braiding, drill press, and grinder operations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and troubleshooting.
- Experience in changeover and grinding processes.
- Skills in programming and machining.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to shear.
- Experience in maintaining equipment.

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
