\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n
- \n\t
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending Vermont RN licenses considered case-by-case
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) and LDRP nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required (not accepting first-time travelers)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), and STABLE certifications preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required for this Vermont nursing job)
- Experience as a baby nurse at delivery: neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, newborn medication administration
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for flu only)
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available)
- All-season or snow tires required November–April (Vermont winter driving)

\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n\n
- \n\t
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Float to other units and participate in on-call shifts (2 x 12-hour shifts per rolling 4-week period)
- Work every other weekend and adjust schedule as needed for patient care
- Lead or assist in neonatal resuscitations, assign APGAR scores, and administer newborn medications
- Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Work at least 2 out of 4 major holidays if scheduled (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete all compliance documentation prior to start date
