Position: Hydraulic Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team in Acton, MA.
Job Summary:
As a Hydraulic Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on a variety of hydraulic equipment. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our clients to provide exceptional service and maintain strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hydraulic systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in hydraulic technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime and on-call duties. This position will require travel to client sites within the Acton, MA area.
