We are seeking a Travel RN Med Surg for a travel/contract position in Pittsfield, MA, and are accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $3362 Weekly Gross pay based on a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg, Tele

Shifts available: Nights

Shift timings: 8 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am

Schedule: 48 hours/week guaranteed, 4 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, Holiday rotation if required, RTO limit of 5 days, No block scheduling

Position Requirements:

  • Current Med Surg Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
  • Telemety experience - Required
  • Basic Dysrythmia experience - Required
  • MediTech Expanse experience - Highly preferred
  • Must be willing to float to other similar units - Required
  • Prior travel experience: Highly preferred

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN - Required
  • BSN – Preferred
  • RN License for State of Massachusetts - Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA - Required
  • ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required
  • NIHSS Certification - Required

Job Description:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care in alignment with hospital standards in the assigned units.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and facility policies.
