Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Enjoy a consistent and predictable schedule, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Your day will primarily be dedicated to providing direct therapy services and preparation.
Caseload: 3rd - 5th Graders
You will be working with a caseload of students in the 3rd through 5th-grade range, providing targeted speech and language therapy to help them achieve their communication goals.

- Focus on Therapy: As a contract SLP in our district, you will not be assigned any additional school "duties" outside of your direct therapy services and preparation time. This allows you to dedicate your expertise entirely to supporting your students' communication development.
- Dedicated Prep Time: Your weekly schedule includes a generous 1 hour and 10 minutes of dedicated preparation time, ensuring you have ample opportunity to plan effective and engaging therapy sessions, complete necessary documentation, and collaborate with the team as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades 3-5.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) with measurable goals based on assessment results.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and engaging activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, session notes, and communication with parents and school staff.
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed to share assessment findings, progress updates, and recommendations.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher license is required. This is a mandatory requirement for this contract position in New Hampshire.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) with the required New Hampshire licensure will also be considered.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 3-5) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Compensation:
We offer the average competitive hourly rate of $40-$50 based on experience for a contract Speech Language Pathologist in this role. Your specific rate will be determined based on your years of relevant experience and qualifications.
