Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting contract-related activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance. Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the contract lifecycle using tools such as Ironclad and Medcompli to ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Prepare, review, and analyze contract documents, including CDAs, Consulting Agreements, MSAs, and SOWs, to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external parties involved in contract negotiations.
• Provide support for ad hoc projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to established goals.
• Interpret and analyze basic legal terms and concepts to facilitate effective contract execution.
• Troubleshoot issues proactively and provide solutions to improve contract management processes.
• Ensure proper execution of commercial contracts and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for contract administration.
• Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to address contract-related challenges efficiently.• Proven experience in contract administration, with a strong understanding of commercial contracts such as CDAs, Consulting Agreements, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Ability to interpret and analyze basic legal terms and concepts; prior paralegal experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with contract management systems or lifecycle management tools, particularly Ironclad and Medcompli.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to ensure accuracy in contract preparation and review.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues and streamline contract processes effectively.
