Role Description
We are looking for a Security Guard for a part- to full-time, on-site position in or near Cheshire County, NH. In this role, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by:
- Patrolling properties
- Monitoring surveillance equipment
- Inspecting buildings and access points
- Enforcing security protocols
- Responding to safety and security incidents
- Assisting staff and visitors as needed
Strong communication skills and situational awareness are essential. This is a hands-off position, meaning you'll manage situations without directly involving yourself in them.
Qualifications
- Age: Must be 18 years or older.
- Guard Card: Ability to obtain a guard card is required; preference given to those with a New Hampshire guard card.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience: Previous experience in physical security or private security is not necessary.
- Certification: Valid security certification is preferred; prior security experience is advantageous.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively engage with staff and visitors.
- Vigilance: Ability to remain alert, enforce security measures, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Emergency Protocol: Understanding of safety and emergency response procedures.
- Physical Fitness: High level of physical fitness; must be able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security-related fields is a plus.
