Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license, recent cath lab experience, and call coverage.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Cardiovascular Suite within a hospital environment
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts typically between 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm
- On-call required including 12-hour overnight shifts and/or weekends, with an average of 2-3 overnight calls per week and/or 1-2 weekends per month
- 30-minute response time required when on call
- Care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Epic EMR experience required
- Duties include pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac cath lab patients
- Successful completion of Tele/ECG and medication skills tests may be required
- Team-oriented environment with both RNs and cath lab technologists
- Dress code or scrubs to align with department standards
- First-time travelers may be considered if all qualifications are met

- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency with balloon pumps required
- Ability to take call for STEMI cases required
- Interventional radiology experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must be able to provide proof of COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must have been separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities for at least 6 months for consideration
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible
