A K-12 school in Amherst, NH is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role primarily supports a bilingual evaluation for a PreK student and requires fluency in both Portuguese and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual speech-language evaluations for PreK students.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Document assessments and provide clear reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Maintain licensing requirements and adhere to school district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire SLP license.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential to support bilingual evaluation needs.
