Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in grades K-4 within a rural school setting in Barre, VT. This contract runs from March 2, 2026, through June 19, 2026, providing full-time hours (40 hours per week, 5 days per week) to deliver specialized educational services that meet the unique needs of students on your caseload.
Qualifications:
- Vermont Elementary License required
- Special Education Endorsement preferred

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to tailor instruction and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with families and school personnel
- Support students social, emotional, and academic development within the elementary setting
