Job Description
To provide quality clinical intervention including individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents, residing within the Helix Human Services SHARP residential program. The Clinician is also responsible for care coordination from intake to discharge of a youth. S/he will ensure completion of Clinical summaries for presentation to agency, agency prescriber, and collateral contacts.
The SHARP LGBTQIA+ Residential program is an inclusive environment designed to support adolescents between the ages of 13-18 years old, regardless of how they identify, who have experienced trauma, with moderate mental health and behavioral challenges.
Schedule
Monday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday or Sunday one weekend day per month.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a master’s degree in human services, social work, mental health, or related field.
- Must have license; (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or PhD) or be license eligible.
- Requires a minimum of two years’ experience as a clinician and experience with emotionally disabled and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
- Requires excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Requires ability to write professional reports.
- Requires good written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to work as part of a team in a residential setting.
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Availability to work evenings, as needed.
- Requires the maintenance of Licensure, including continuing education and ethical responsibility.
