Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Fall River, MA. This contract role offers a hybrid work schedule, blending on-site and remote hours, providing flexibility while delivering direct therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders in pediatric and school-aged children
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students specific speech-language needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and provide updates on therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (CCC-SLP certification preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric populations and within school settings is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Comfortable managing a caseload of PreK8th grade students
