Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed RN or LPN is needed to provide one-on-one nursing care for a medically fragile student requiring special education transportation between home and school. This full-time contract position supports a student traveling daily from Billerica, MA to an educational placement in Lexington, MA.

Responsibilities include assisting the student with preparation for the special education van rides both in the morning from home to school and in the afternoon for the return trip. Hours align with the school day, starting between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., and ending around 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. While a nurse is present at the out-of-district campus, this role also offers opportunities to float to different locations within the school district as needed.

Key Qualifications:

Valid RN or LPN license required
Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
Ability to safely transport and support a medically fragile student
Strong communication skills and compassion for special education students
Reliable and punctual with flexibility to support floating responsibilities across the district

Location: Billerica, MA (with transportation to Lexington, MA)
