Adecco Staffing is working with a well-known manufacturing company in Bedford, MA to bring on Assemblers/Wire Bonders!
This is a temp-to-hire position!
Position: Wire Bonding/Assembly
Pay: $23–$25 an hour (Flexible if you have past experience)
Shift: 1st shift
Job Summary:
The Assembler/Wire Bonder is responsible for assembling and wire bonding microelectronic components using manual and semi-automatic equipment under a microscope. This role requires high attention to detail, fine motor skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual and automated wire bonding (e.g., wedge, ball bonding) on microelectronic assemblies
• Assemble small parts and components under a microscope using tweezers and hand tools
• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and assembly diagrams
• Perform visual inspections for quality assurance and ensure compliance with standards
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Follow safety and cleanroom protocols (if applicable)
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on process improvements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year experience in wire bonding, micro-assembly, or similar fine-detail manufacturing preferred
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
• Familiarity with bonding machines (e.g., K&S, West-Bond, etc.) is a plus
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Fine motor control to manipulate small components
• Use of magnification tools/microscopes for long durations

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
