Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leave of absence contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Feeding Hills, MA. This position provides direct speech and language services to students in grades K-4, supporting their communication development and educational progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students through small group sessions, one-on-one support, and inclusion classrooms.
  • Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Develop, write, and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings collaboratively with educators and families.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly to inform instructional adjustments.
  • Complete any required make-up services due to previous vacancy in the role.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist; candidates holding the CCC credential preferred.
  • Experience working within school settings providing comprehensive speech-language support.
  • Ability to perform student evaluations, write measurable goals, and manage caseload effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Willingness to complete required district onboarding procedures.

  • School: Elementary, grades K-4
  • Schedule: Approximately 17 hours per week
  • Duration: Immediate start through February 13, 2026, with potential extension due to additional make-up services
