Key Details:
- Location: Onsite in the Marblehead, Massachusetts area
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload & Site Info: Specific caseload and school site details will be shared during the interview with the Special Services Director.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching license
- Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEPs, behavior management techniques, and differentiated instruction strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction to students in individual and small group settings
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students academic and emotional growth
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed to ensure student success
- Provide behavioral support and create strategies to manage challenging behaviors
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development, review, and evaluation of students' progress
