As a coverage litigator, your role will be both intellectually stimulating and professionally rewarding, offering a seamless blend of autonomy and collaboration.

You will manage your own docket of complex insurance coverage cases from inception through resolution, taking ownership of key tasks such as analyzing policy language, drafting detailed coverage opinions, and crafting persuasive motions and pleadings.

This independent responsibility is balanced by active collaboration with partners, senior attorneys, and litigation teams that demand strategic coordination and nuanced legal insight.

Your days will be dynamic and varied-whether you're preparing for or attending depositions, arguing dispositive motions in court, or engaging in high-level discussions with clients to develop litigation strategies.

You'll be expected to maintain proactive communication with clients, offering timely updates and thoughtful guidance throughout the lifecycle of each case.

In addition to courtroom exposure, you'll conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda that support and sharpen the firm's approach to coverage disputes.

Qualifications:

A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar

3-6 years of experience focused on insurance coverage litigation, preferably in a law firm environment

Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution

Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills

Experience drafting comprehensive coverage opinions and handling complex coverage disputes involving commercial general liability and other lines of insurance
