This opportunity offers a rewarding nursing position within a well-established healthcare environment focused on Med-Surg with Telemetry care. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care to adults with various conditions including telemetry monitoring, post-operative recovery, chronic illnesses, and end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply, interpret, and actively respond to telemetry rhythms.
• Provide patient care for telemetry, post-op orthopedic, urology, GI, COPD, CHF, diabetic, dementia, and end-of-life patients.
• Perform unit-specific procedures including peripheral IV insertion and NG tube placement.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Use hospital systems such as Epic for documentation and Pyxis for medication management.
• Participate regularly in 12-hour shifts with flexibility for additional 8-hour shifts as needed.
• Adhere to professional dress code standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered Nurse licensure with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and telemetry certification required.
• Experience with telemetry rhythm application, interpretation, and responses.
• Peripheral IV insertion skills preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable transportation recommended due to possible distance from housing to facility.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling option available.
• Every other weekend coverage; holiday work required.
• No call responsibilities.
