Aspen Systems is seeking an experienced Brazing Technician to assist in the manufacture of products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer supplied parts for processing; frequently involves cleaning, assembling and applying braze alloy according to assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Perform post-braze visual inspection and conduct leak testing using hydrogen and refrigerant leak detection equipment
- Follow procedures regarding any irregular or non-conforming material
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; reporting malfunctions
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees when appropriate
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- 2 years experience with Brazing
- Ability to retain information with regard to standard assembly/disassembly procedures
- Experience with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches
- Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have knowledge of brazing processes, testing, metallurgy, temperatures, etc.
- Must be able to pass a DRUG SCREEN & BACKGROUND CHECK.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
