Job Details
• ED RN Nights & EOW – 36hrs.
• Unit Name: Observation Unit.
• 16 New Observation Beds for patients and holds.
• Years of Experience Required: 2+ years.
• General ED nursing skills including Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 4:1 or 5:1 depending on unit needs.
• Patient Population: Adult.
• Bed Count: 16.
• Census: 10-16.
• EMR (Charting System): Epic, Asap and Clin doc.
• Floating Required: Yes.
• Rotating Shifts Required: Yes.
• Must be able to read tele strips.

Job Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Active Massachusetts RN License required.
• General ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.

Schedule Information
• Nights and every other weekend (EOW) shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• Rotating shifts required.

Unit Specific Information
• Observation Unit with 16 beds for patient holds.
• Clinician to patient ratio 4:1 or 5:1 depending on unit needs.
• Patient population is adult.

Additional Details
• Must be able to read tele strips.
• Floating required.
