Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced MRI technologist at a well-equipped medical center located in Bristol, VT. This is a contract position that requires a motivated professional with 1-2 years of clinical experience and ARRT certification in radiology. The role offers exposure to a community-based hospital environment with a variety of imaging procedures and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine MRI exams using the GE Optima 450w wide bore MRI machine
  • Administer contrast injections as needed for diagnostic imaging
  • Provide support in related radiology areas, including X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy, with some rotation to different units such as OR and off-site locations
  • Participate in on-call rotations including weekends and holidays (typically 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.) as needed, supporting patient care and emergency imaging needs
  • Adhere to the facility dress code, safety protocols, and maintain proper documentation in Epic systems
  • Work collaboratively within a large radiology team of 40+ staff, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency

Desired Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiology required; vascular certification preferred if applicable
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in MRI imaging
  • Ability to work various shifts including an 8-hour schedule with possible self-scheduling options
  • Experience with contrast injections and patient care protocols
  • Flexibility to float between departments and work in surgery and fluoroscopy settings
