Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within our food production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with specific expertise in refrigeration systems, food safety compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with food safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to maintain continuous production.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant safety and quality regulations.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in industrial refrigeration systems (e.g., ammonia, Freon).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Experience leading maintenance teams and managing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree preferred.
