Position : Certified Medical assistant

Location : Littleton, NH, 03561

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient interviews and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height in the EMR

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

• Assist providers by draping patients and positioning instruments and equipment

• Hand instruments and materials to providers during procedures

• Operate diagnostic equipment such as EKGs and coordinate patient testing with other departments

• Perform venipunctures, routine lab tests, injections, ear lavage, and other clinical procedures

• Depending on site placement, manage appointment scheduling, maintain medical records, complete insurance forms, and perform secretarial tasks

• Conduct tele-triage, collecting and relaying patient information using computer triage templates

• Exercise sound judgment in handling patient questions and complaints

• Demonstrate knowledge of insurance processes including referrals and pre-authorizations

• Provide age-appropriate care and understand principles of growth and development across the lifespan

• Participate in staff and team meetings

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations

Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or RMA)

• Strong clinical skills and familiarity with EMR systems

• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Understanding of insurance protocols and patient triage

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
