Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 public school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract role will primarily support students at Crosby Elementary, working with children from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and have experience in school-based SLP services. Familiarity with the specific needs of elementary school students and the ability to manage a caseload effectively in a school environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across pre-K to 5th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support students' communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives related to speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Licensure or eligibility to work in Massachusetts schools

Location: North Adams, MA (Crosby Elementary School)

Contract Type: Full-time contract for the current school year
