Job Title: Contract Negotiator

Location: Remote - Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine United States

Type: Full Time


Our Client is seeking a Contract Negotiator professional to support the development, negotiation, and oversight of healthcare provider agreements. This role focuses on building and maintaining a strong provider network while ensuring contracts align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement guidelines.


**This position is remote within the state of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont or Massachusetts. Quarterly onsite meetings at the Bedford, NH office required.**


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and negotiate contracts with hospitals, physicians, medical groups, and ancillary service providers
  • Recruit and develop a regional provider network strategy aligned with access, quality, and cost objectives
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage potential provider partners
  • Lead contract negotiations to achieve unit cost targets and meet organizational and regulatory goals
  • Oversee provider setup and contract configuration to ensure accurate claims processing
  • Monitor provider performance, quality metrics, and financial outcomes related to contracted agreements
  • Support and track provider credentialing activities
  • Organize and facilitate provider focus groups and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contracted providers to ensure ongoing contract compliance
  • Support implementation and maintenance of provider agreements across operational areas
  • Travel up to 25% as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all organizational policies and standards


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in provider contracting, provider relations, or related roles
  • Experience in healthcare, managed care, or insurance environments preferred
